The Visual Computing Lab is a research group of the CNR-ISTI (Italian National Research Council - Institute for Information Science and Technology) in Pisa, Italy. The lab is headed by Paolo Cignoni, and is located in the CNR-ISTI building in the CNR Research Area in Pisa, Italy.

Three accepted projects in the PRIN22 call
Three project proposals submitted by Visual Computing Lab researchers have been accepted in the ‘22 call for “Progetti di Ricerca di Rilevante Interesse Nazionale (PRIN). The three projects: REFLEX, EUPHROSYNE and OPUS, covering topics of innovative 2D optical digitization, Marine Biology, and Cultural Heritage, will have Federico Ponchio, Gaia Pavoni, and Marco Callieri as their Primary Investigators”
